Asymmetrical Handmade Ceramic Sculptural Vase

$600.00

Description: This one-of-a-kind handbuilt stoneware vase is inspired by the remarkable textures found in nature. Its sculptural silhouette, layered surface, and earthy palette reflect the quiet beauty of weathered landscapes while celebrating the organic movement of clay.

The piece was inspired by a visit to a local farm in Costa Rica, where I was captivated by an old tree covered in layers of fungi and lichen. The rich textures, soft color variations, and natural patterns became the starting point for this vase, influencing everything from its carved surface to the flowing glazes that developed during firing.

Designed as both a functional vase and a sculptural statement piece, it brings warmth, texture, and an organic presence to a space whether displayed with botanical arrangements or appreciated on its own.
